Visual Composer Website Builder settings located in your WordPress admin dashboard under Visual Composer menu with following options available for Premium version (for Free version Headers, Footers, and Sidebars are unavailable):
- Activation (available only if you haven’t activated the plugin)
If you have installed Visual Composer Website Builder but did not proceed with the activation, it will be the only option available. You will need to activate the plugin to verify your installation and download the extensions necessary for the plugin to work with Visual Composer Cloud.
To activate plugin click on the Activate button to open activation screen.
Visual Composer Website Builder allows you to work with pages, posts, and custom post types of your WordPress site. In Settings menu you will see all your post types listed with the option to enable or disable use of Visual Composer Website Builder for specific custom post types.
To allow Visual Composer Website Builder to work with your content make sure to set your pages, posts, and custom post types to ON.
Note: Don’t forget to confirm your changes by clicking Save Changes button.
Visual Composer settings allow you to perform a reset which will remove all Visual Composer extensions downloaded from the Cloud and re-download them with the latest versions.
Headers, Footers, Sidebars
Visual Composer Premium version allows you to create an unlimited number of unique headers, footers, and sidebars. Headers, footers, and sidebars will be stored as templates (with an option to set a default) and can be inserted into Visual Composer Layouts.
Visual Composer Global Templates allows you to create smart templates that can be inserted into multiple pages and managed from one place. Global Templates is an Addon available for the Premium version of the plugin via Visual Composer Hub.
