Page Layouts and Options

Your WordPress theme usually has a default header, footer and sidebar layout defined. Nevertheless, there are cases when you need a blank page to create a layout. For example, you can to create a simple landing page for your marketing campaign. Or you want to create your custom headers, footers, and sidebars.

Visual Composer Website Builder offers you to convert any page, post, or custom post type into a blank layout and adjust options via Visual Composer Settings.

To select/change a page layout you will need to complete these simple steps:

  1. Create a new page or ‘Edit’ existing page;
  2. In Visual Composer Settings click on the layout icon of your choice;
  3. Optional: specify header, footer, or sidebar templates;

Note: The changes will instantly take place in your Frontend editor, to apply changes, make sure to click Save/Publish.

Page Title

Every page, post, or custom post type has a title, right? Now, in order to change it you don’t need to exit Visual Composer. Simply open Visual Composer page settings and input your page title.

Note: If you are using theme layout and want to get rid of the title display on your page, click on the toggle option to hide page title.
